Tropical Doctor in Sierra Leone Wanted!
Position: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Location: Magbenteh Community Hospital | Makeni, Sierra Leone
Duration: 2 years (extension possible)
Start: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate medical activities at the hospital, working with local and international teams.
- Perform clinical duties (inpatient/outpatient) and supervise the local Medical Superintendent.
- Train and build capacity of medical staff, including regular bedside teaching and formal training sessions.
- Improve quality of care through collaboration with national and international partners.
- Provide regular reports to partners ASSL and L’appel.
Focus: Capacity building, clinical supervision, and enhancing care quality for both inpatients and outpatients.
