Course Fee and Registration
The course fee is calculated to cover course expenses and to help co-fund scholarships for international participants. Due to increased accommodation and meal costs, we have had to adjust the fees this year accordingly. No profit is made.
The fee includes course participation, accommodation from May 4 to May 9, 2025, meals and coffee breaks from Sunday dinner through Friday lunch, and course materials. The fee does not cover alcoholic beverages, drinks outside provided meals and coffee breaks, or transportation costs.
Scholarships for colleagues from resource-limited countries will be available again in 2025! Applications was open until September 15, 2024. More details can be found under “Support for International Colleagues.”
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation, we will first offer your spot to those on the waiting list. Alternatively, you may arrange a replacement participant yourself. If the spot is successfully filled, we will refund your course fee minus a €50 processing fee. If the spot remains unfilled, the full course fee will be charged.

We are pleased to be able to hold our course again in 2022 at Schloss Rauischholzhausen, the conference and training facility of the University of Giessen. This historic and beautiful venue is tailor-made for our course as it offers the possibility to accommodate all participants, organizers and lecturers in one place, good facilities and a very fair financial framework. The versatile room selection meets our demand of lectures combined with small group work. Catering includes three main meals and two coffee breaks per day. Vegan and vegetarian options are available at each meal. Hosting the course there for the first time in 2016 has proven to be a complete success.
Sponsoring and support
We sincerely thank all the volunteer co-organizers of the course for their years of dedication as well as our financial supporters!
We assure you that our intensive course is designed to be product- and service-neutral, with all content independent of commercial interests. No services or products are promoted. Any potential conflicts of interest are disclosed in a personal declaration.
